There are however common genetic elements with the Anatolian populations, where the Hittites have lived and also with the Greeks, Italians and Basques. Professor Alexander Rodewald is in charge of a group which has done genetic studies on old and modern bones from Romania in order to establish the origin of the Romanian people. @xBaarbieDollx Thankyou, oh believe me, I can look sick, if I loose weight I look ill! I try my best to stay well though! I hope you get better soon, I’ve been in hospital on IV’s the past week and I’m feeling much better now, I think everywhere and everyone has different treatment as after all everyone is an individual case! I talk to a few other CF’s I met at the hospital, don’t you know anyone else that has it?

@hannahmarialeexx I have a scar on my chest from my portacath and another under my arm from where I had a lung drain in when I had a collapsed lung, I see them as being amazing though as they make my life easier and the other helped save my life, which is important, it shows my journey, you shouldn’t hate them! I try to be as clued up as possible with my CF it’s my way of coping I guess! Take care, stay well!

Well done for staying strong, i know exactly how you feel. I’m 15 and have all ready had to have a heart and lung transplant and am now starting diyalasis because my kidneys are failing. How did you cope with cf and doing your gcse’s? i’m having the tube for my diyalasis put in next week and am worrying about the amount of course work im going to miss. Any advice?x
My cousin has CF!!! He’s only 3 or so and he goes through A LOT of rough times
He also has the vest and nebulizer and the medicine but he doesn’t like any of it at all!!
I too have felt led to do some video geared toward CF education. I’m not sure how it will turn out of if i will be able to do it at all. but I am headed in for an admission tomorrow and I plan to do a full series of videos while I’m in there, as long as I can upload them from the wireless. @floowir – Milk doesn’t produce more mucus, its been proven to be a myth that it actually produces anymore mucus or thickens it. And Milk is a good source of Calcium which we can get a lack of as well.
